Flitwick Scout Group were celebrating their 100 year anniversary this year, so it was great that so many of the Anomalous Unit could turn out to park cars. We have a constitutional arrangement with both Ampthill and Flitwick Scout Groups, and we try to support them both each year in their fund raising as a little ‘thank you’ for the kit that we borrow and the support we get from them.
Result 180 cars parked in record time, and everyone got out smartly, so very well done.
Helping Flitwick celebrate were our ACC Nigel Taylor, District Chair Bill Cadman, National Scout Chaplain Richard Winslade and ACC Cubs Jo Winslade, as well as over 200 members of the public (some of whom might want to become Explorers later!)
The local Jamboree 2012 contingent were also there doing some fund raising, which was good to see.
